These passages from the book of Matthew are a continuation from the events in the temple where Jesus shows us what should take place in the temple of God. Jesus cursed a fig tree because it did not bear any fruit and it died. Each of us needs to have enough faith to proclaim the word of God to others, this is how we bear fruit for Jesus!

Palm Sunday, in Jerusalem, Jesus begins His last week on earth. Why did Jesus deliberately enter Jerusalem where He knew he would be crucified? He endured all the suffering and humiliation to save us from sin because He loves us.

Pastor Anthony's sermon today is about 2 blind men sitting on the side of the road who shouted to Jesus "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" These two men believed what they heard about Jesus and acted upon it. They refused to be silent and they were persistent.
We must search for Jesus with all our hearts for without faith it is impossible to please Him. For he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
