Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”— when you already have it with you.
In Pastor Anthony’s message today, he urges us to ask ourselves “How can I help my neighbor today?” This passage is quite clear that we should act immediately in any way we can, spiritually, in prayer and physically. In these passages, Jesus is clear that children are dear and precious to God and should never be held back from God. The lesson Pastor Anthony instructs us in today is that our children belong to God and we are to prepare them for eternity by teaching them the Word of God.
